Cualificaciones

Ensure full compliance with company processes, customer requirements, and certification standards while driving continuous improvement across quality systems and operations. Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and operations staff, aligning their efforts with departmental and company objectives. Foster a culture of feedback, professional development, and collaboration to achieve excellence in quality performance.

 

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in the company’s document control system.
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements ( EDANA QAP, ISO 22000 - 9001 and BRC)
  • Define QA objectives and monitor progress toward targets.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to set quality requirements for suppliers.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures with operational teams.
  • Organize and lead management reviews, customer audits, and ISO audits.
  • Drive corrective and preventive action plans to close gaps and ensure sustainable solutions.
  • Supervise internal audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage quality-related complaints and customer claims.
  • Oversee laboratory operations, including technician training, test reliability, and equipment calibration.
  • Validate Certificates of Analysis and prepare waivers when specifications are not met.
  • Monitor product performance (Cpk values), conduct R&R Gage studies, and support SPC activities.
  • Contribute to new product introductions and propose improvements for lab efficiency.
  • Ensure proper release of products and manage non-conformities effectively.
  • Collaborate on transversal projects within Magnera’s Corporate Quality Department.

 

 

Responsabilidades

Education

University degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5), such as DU, IUP, Master’s, or Engineering degree in a relevant field.

Master’s degree in Quality Management or a related discipline preferred.

Candidates with significant experience in a similar role may be considered even if formal education is lower than the stated level.

Training or experience will be assessed in the following areas:

Implementation or certification of ISO standards.
Certificates of Analysis (CoA) methods and testing procedures.
Six Sigma certification (preferred) or any equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experiencie

3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Practical experience in quality management and team leadership.
Working knowledge of Lean principles.Internal candidates may be considered without prior experience if they demonstrate potential for career progression.

Languages
Spanish: Native or fluent.
English: Fluent (Advanced level preferred).
